Okotoks, Alberta is currently looking to pass bylaw 24-13 as an amendment to the land-use bylaw, which would include dedicated tobacconists as 'adult entertainment' venues (along with strip clubs, etc), and relegate them to industrial areas, despite the fact that corner convenience shops will still be able to sell tobacco products anywhere.

WOW, that sounds absolutely absurd!!! How can they possibly justify that? Does Alberta have a tobacco lobby which will be fighting against this amendment?
